Launching your online presence
I’ve recently been involved with relaunching the online profile for an organisation …and its great to see the power of simple techniques coming to the forefront.
The goal to launch an increased online presence that is low-cost and low maintenance:
we simply went back to the CRM, identified our target market …discussed the best methods to communicate effectively and in this case it is Facebook..
We launched a self-managed Facebook page …tested it with a few users and then launched it by a communication directly to existing customers and past customers – including those who didn’t buy directly from the client’s business.
Added a nice free offer – and BOOM BANG KABING ….instant profile on Facebook!
The Facebook page is already rocking with activity and an open rate was 16.1% higher than the industry average.
It’s not rocket science but simple applied marketing – know who you want to communicate to, know what you want to say…say it well and if you want them to take action – make sure they do!
